About The Site
BackingTracksForScales.com was founded by Allan Haapalainen, a guitar teacher from Rovaniemi, Finland. It is a place where musicians can find backing tracks for practicing different scales. It's one thing to practice scales with a metronome but to really LEARN a scale you need to make music with it. That's what this site is for. My backing tracks are made of simple 2-4 chord vamps to make learning the scales easier.

And when I was 14, I bought my first electric guitar back then and formed a band with my friends. That was the moment I started being serious with music.

And when I was in the university studity Art - Architecture, I still play hard with my guitar.
I've done many things as much as one guitarist could. I arranged many songs for local singers and be a teacher for many music academy/school.
Now I'm currently a backup/session guitarist for The G'mm Grammy Gold Thailand. I've been playing live around in Thailand and its nearby countries.
I exprienced many kind of stage from the smallest ones to the biggest ones with many popular singers and artists. And I've been doing this for atleast 12 years.
And it's been more than 20 years since when I started my career with music.

JULIEN CARAYON
Julien Carayon is French guitarist who released his first album titled "Lethal Alchemy" As America Twentieth Century Guitar Magazine says: "Lethal Alchemy is a round of jaw dropping, scintillating electric guitar world. In the realm of Planet X and Steve Vai, Carayon blows the roof off with the spaciously recorded, hard rocking instrumental sound of Lethal Alchemy. Hard rock it may be, but Carayon blends all manners of Euro-flavored jazz-rock and prog-fusion elements into the mix." Julien Carayon is composing his 2nd album which is due for release in 2010.
